There’s an open exploit in human nature and human societies that can be used to effectively control the masses:

  1. Convince people that they are inherently defective. They were born bad, and that’s the source of their problems.

  2. Tell them that in order to make up for their defects they need to follow a set of impossible and nonsensical set of rules and mandates. Make them pay administrative fees for helping them with this endless, impossible quest.

  3. Promise intangible and unattainable benefits if they successfully follow the rules and pay the fees for the rest of their lives.

It’s hard to be completely immune to this, but if you can, remember:

  • you were born just like that, neither good nor bad,

  • you can do whatever you want - invent your own rules or just improvise, and

  • expect whatever benefits accrue to become available soon enough to enjoy them.

TL;DR Have Fun!
