Elite AI-Assisted Coding, Cohort 1 Wrap
The first cohort of Elite AI-Assisted Coding just wrapped up, and honestly, Isaac and I are blown away. Working with this group of students was fantastic — the engagement, the questions, the willingness to experiment and push boundaries. We couldn’t have asked for a better first cohort.
The Feedback Tells a Story
The feedback from students has been incredible. We got an average rating higher than 9 out of 10 and an NPS of 68, which is excellent by any standard. But beyond the numbers, what really matters is that our core approach resonated with people.
We took a bet on building something comprehensive — not just a collection of tips and tricks, but a complete framework for integrating AI into the software development process. From solo coding all the way through to continuous integration, team workflows, and everything in between. Our emphasis on specification and context engineering turned out to be exactly what people needed.
What Students Are Saying
Here’s what some of the cohort participants had to say:
“Stop wasting time and energy trying to figure out an effective AI-powered development workflow. Eleanor and Isaac teach a general mental and practical framework to quickly learn how to leverage the potential in AI tools at different levels of complexity to make development more efficient.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Julian Cardonnet, Generative AI Engineer @ Arboria
“A Course That Teaches You to Think, Not Just Code... This course helps you THINK systematically in this evolving world of agentic/LLM-driven work, and I LOVED IT. Sort of the ‘give a person a fish, feed them once; teach them to fish, feed them forever’ approach.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jack Shaw, CEO & Co-Founder @ Comprendo
“Before this course I tried using AI and agentic tools in my work but with mixed success. I was able to immediately apply the lessons from the course into my workflows to use agents more effectively.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Akashdeep Pannu, Senior Software Engineer @ LinkedIn
“Eleanor and Isaac did an excellent job creating and delivering this course. Their focus on the processes helps make the course timeless in a quickly evolving ecosystem of tools. They shone as instructors by listening and responding to questions … Highly recommend.“
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carol Willing, President @ Willing Consulting
“Elite AI Assisted Coding is a real AI engineering course, by engineers for engineers … Isaac and Eleanor break the content steadily over the 3 weeks, with a lot more adjacent content to help ease off the content-dense parts. Would definitely recommend to other teams wanting to leap forward and find a vendor-agnostic path to adopting AI engineering.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kenny Joseph, Architect @ REA Group
“Eleanor and Isaac provide tremendous value with this course: They structure the material systematically, give many hands-on practical demonstrations, and invite interesting experts from the field. My highlights were the challenging but doable homeworks and the lively discussions on Discord.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mitja Martini, Senior Technical Consultant @ T-Systems
“Thoughtful, systematic approach to writing software better (not just faster). Instructors are highly available for questions/advice and provide a ton of additional tutorials and walkthroughs in addition to interactive participation.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mike Powers, AI Engineer
“Isaac and Eleanor are amazing teachers who generously shared their insights into the state of AI assisted engineering and strategies for more effectively using AI. Their lessons are easily applicable to the day to day and have already changed how I interact with AI.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Michelle Herrera, Software Engineer
“Overall a really great, information packed course on AI Assisted Coding that helps you move from just vibe coding to actually engineering your context and prompts towards repeatedly reliable use of LLMs through their various modalities.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jaakko Salonen, Software Architect @ Gofore Finland
“I learned an awful lot in this course ... when you learn to systematically use AI assisted coding you actually learn to write better code yourself, you understand the code you deliver from top to bottom, the code that AI writes for you follows (mostly) the guidelines you use yourself.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jelle de Jong, Data Specialist @ Waterschap Drents Overijsselse Delta
“This course was an excellent review of the current state-of-the-art in agentic coding. It provided me with a much more structured approach to working with AI during software development. As a direct result, I feel significantly more productive and effective.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Joshua Patrick Kirby Earnest, Senior Lead Technologist @ Booz Allen
“Seeing Eleanor and Isaac in action is an enlightening experience.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carlos Izquierdo, Founder @ Ertis Networking
What’s Next
We’re already planning Cohort 2, starting in January 2026. If you’re interested in moving beyond vibe coding and want to develop a systematic approach to AI-assisted software development, you can sign up here.
Thanks again to everyone in Cohort 1 for making this such a rewarding experience. We learned as much from you as you did from us.
